Welcome to the website of the Arnhem Rugby Club “The Pigs”.
ARC The Pigs is the only rugby club of Arnhem, and has been ever since we were founded in 1974. With teams playing at all levels of Dutch rugby (men, women, veterans , & youth), there is a place for every rugby lover in our club. Please come and visit us at our ground, though you are of course more than welcome to stroll around our website for a bit (If you can understand dutch ;).

During the season we train every Tuesday and Thursday evening, from 7.30 pm sharp to 9.00 pm! Matchdays are on Sunday for men, women, colts and on Saturday for veterans and youth.Our schedule can be found on our calender.

How to get there?
Public transport. Direction Nijmegen from Trainstation Arnhem Zuid, Bus 10 (connexxion, direction Arnhem CS) The name of the busstop is Bussumstraat. Walk into the Bussumstraat and street between wite houses, across the park and you will fiend our grounds. Direction Utrecht, Apeldoorn, Doetinchem from Trainstation Arnhem CS. Bus 5 (connexxion, direction De Laar West). The name of the busstop is Bussumstraat. For all those gents, women and kids that like to play rugby. You can always come and train with us for a few weeks to see whether you like it!
There is a dressingroom, so you can get changed and have a shower afterwards. Then join us in the clubhouse for a drink. There is also a fitness room/gym available for practice and last but not least the rugby pitch and traininggrounds. Both with floodlights for practice and games in the evening houres.
What to wear?
Bring a strong t-shirt or rugby shirt and rugby shorts. Of course you don’t have to wear those in your first sessions, regular sports shorts will be great to start with! Also bring shoes with studs (football boots or “hockey boots” or if you don’t have those regular running shoes). A gumshield (mouth guard/ “bitje”) comes in handy, you can buy those at the clubstore.
